Aussie SEO Experts

I noticed recently we started appearing in search for Aussie SEO Experts. Cool I thought, we’re Aussie and we think we are SEO experts, so good phrase. I saw the phrase in Google webmaster tools. We’d only just began appearing for it and we are ranked about 50 for it.

I really didn’t think much more about it until I received an email this morning.

There are so many problems with this SEO Company’s email.

1. You are trying to sell your wares to another SEO company and whilst I appreciate your concern for our rankings, I really have all the SEO I can eat!
2. You are emailing to an address that we use to trap spammers. Not that I am saying you are a spammer but how did you get that email address?
3. Your reply to email address is [email protected] I’m not one to judge but that doesn’t look very professional to me.
4. Oh yeah you’re breaking Australian law.

Here’s the biggie though

Aussie SEO Experts does not rank

That’s right for it’s own brand, it doesn’t rank. Please don’t spam. Not only is it illegal it’s just plain dumb and annoying. There are better ways to reach your audience. Dare I suggest SEO?
